i saw this movie and had an almost immediate respect for old movies. it was incredible.
Brad and Janet are a sweet couple happily in love when they go out to see a friend and have a flat tire. reluctantly they go over to a castle, the closest building they can find and are thrust into a pandemonium when they find the house is owned bye a crazy transvestite scientist(Tim curry).

ReplyDeleteI give this 8/10 mostly for the nostalgia. I used to get dolled up and hit the midnight showings first in Pennsylvania and then in VA. Knowing all the extras really makes the movie a fun community activity. I even have the soundtrack on vinyl!
Other than the camp, nostalgia, and community fun, the movie can be boring or maybe I'm more jaded now than in my colelge years.
